I have always been a keen fan of Martin Shaw, have watched all his series, loved Judge John Deed, BUT the George gently series is my favourite, I had been buying each series and thoughT that series 7 was the last, but I just had to buy series 8 even though its not very long. Brilliant crime drama, no one does it like the brits, plus its the era I grew up in.
